Awesome Series!!! December 25, 2008 N. Riffle (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Karen Marie Moning delives again with the next update in the "Fever" series. Faefever is a guaranteed page turner with lots of everything you expect from Moning: sexy male love interests for heroine "Mac", mythical dark creatures to fend off, and lots interesting characters with undetermined alliances. I am anxiously awaiting the next in the series! I have enjoyed all of her books, but really love this series. Definately worth it!!!

I love this writer and I love series in a story. She never disappoints me and she didn't this time. You must read the first two so that you can fully appreciate this one.
Read Faefever and. . . December 14, 2008 Ambra J. Wilson 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have been enthrawled by the Fever series and couldn't wait to get my hands on the latest book. I ordered it off Amazon, devoured it slowly, and was utterly disappointed. I read one of the reveiws that said it ended like a porn movie, which in my mind meant that Mac and Barrons had finely given into their lusty feelings and ripped each others clothes off. I mean honestly, if I were Mac I would be all over Barrons. Barrons is hands down the alpha male and what woman can resist the alpha male? The mystery, the machoism, the sex appeal, the confidence, and who cares if he's a gazillion years old? The man has appeal. And I like the fact that he's a little bit on the dark side. Maybe it's just the whole bad boy thing, but I like a man who can get things done, like Barrons. My other favorite is of course the enigmatic Dageus MacKeltar. He makes me drool as well. But anyway, I wont stop reading just because I didn't like the ending. I hope that Karen Marie Moning doesn't disappoint, although I doubt she will. You may not like it, but you have to love the characters. And if that alone isn't enough, just visualize Barrons as a real man, naked, in your bathtub. Yum!
Wrap it up already! December 11, 2008 Deb (California) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really enjoy the books. They're entertaining. BUT, and this is a huge BUT, I hate that the books don't wrap up: They leave you hanging and don't offer a resolution after each installment. I really resent this and feel it's such a marketing ploy to get you to buy the next book. At least Harry Potter had a climax and resolution at the end of each book. You could go to sleep at night and not have to wait a year for what should have been the next chapter, not the next book. I think authors can write books that have an ending and STILL get you to buy the sequels simply because the reader cares about the character and wants to know the character's next adventure. That said, I'll go back to my first sentence. The book is a fun read except for the ending, or the no-end ending.
