Perspective made easy November 5, 2008 Rory (Australia) This book is just what I needed, it is easy to read and the information was simple and was of a good informative standard. For a person who was just starting to learn to draw it gave a lot of good information on this elusive subject.
good basic instruction August 12, 2008 Claire Daneman (Palatka, Florida) A good read, reiterates the importance of perspective for the amateur sketcher..very easy to understand and incorporate the principles in my work.
the title says it all August 11, 2008 M. Blakeslee (LA, CA United States) first off, I'm not an artist. br /I wanted to learn perspective for drawing construction details. br /I've had a book for years that I've tried to read at various times but could not make any sense out of it. It's called "perspective for artists". br /This book came up as a recommended book for me and I decided to give perspective another shot. br /I'd glad I did. This book is awesome. The material is presented simply and clearly. For the first time I feel I have a good, solid, beginner's understanding of perspective that I have been able to instantly use in my drawings.
My review June 19, 2008 M. Shahar Even though it does not appeat to the eye at first, the content is very, very good and teaches a lot. br /I keep it close and refer to it every time I have some difficulty while drawing in perspective.
Not for Interior Design June 17, 2008 Fatma Dincsoy 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book just wasn't for me. Maybe I expected too much after reading all the praise for this book. But I found the explanations insufficient, most of the time I had to look at the little drawings and try to figure it out myself. br / br /There's not much in terms of interior design, which is what I would like to sharpen my drawing skills for. At one point, Norling gives a drawing of a box, and then he tells you to turn it, so it becomes a room and you can place furniture in it. But how?? br / br /In my opinion, the book lacks clear instructions and step-by-step drawings. br / br /I expected more, maybe I'll find it in Pile's book.
