Excellent Real-Life Guide November 16, 2008 M. Farrell, LEED AP (Boston, MA USA) As an architect, this book helps with real-life Revit issues, and doesn't focus on simple tutorials that do not address real life scenarios. I often get frustrated with other books, such as those by other authors, that show neat tricks but do not get to the point of real CD production. This book is a valuable guide, and I have bought everyone in the office a copy to relieve pressure on our BIM manager and to speed up production by sharpening everyone's skills. br / br /Thanks for a great book! br / br /
Not a Great Guide October 29, 2008 A. Demdam (Miami, FL) As a student trying to find a book to supplement a Revit class, this seemed to be the only one out there. However, it was a very general guide and failed to address a lot of questions I had while working on projects in Revit. The book is probably better titled "An Overview of Revit" as it does not really help you to master it at all.
Another Great Revit Book October 5, 2008 Shobhit (Newport Beach, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used this book to teach my Revit class. I am very pleased by using this book. The book explores beyond the "picks clicks" of the software. It really digs into how you can use the software beyond the orthagonal-type buildings. The client showcase within the middle of the book is great because it really shows what is possible within Revit Architecture. Keep up the good work.
Mastering Revit very helpful September 18, 2008 Steve Padget, AIA, LEED AP 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Mastering Revit Architecture 2009 (Mastering) br /While anything as complex as Revit can't possibly be covered in one book, I found this book to be very helpful in my own development with the software. If you don't have a real live 'Revit Master' right at your elbow when you have questions, this is the next best thing.
