Product Description The iNew York Times/i bestselling authors take a journey into the Cape Light of Christmas past. brbr As the citizens of Cape Light deck the halls for a Christmas to remember, the curmudgeonly Lillian Warwick has been confined to her bed with pneumonia. Cared for by her daughters, Emily and Jessica, she lets her thoughts drift back to the holiday season of 1955, to the magical time when she first met Oliver Warwick-the dashing man who would become her husband. brbr Back then, Lillian was beautiful, spirited, and idealistic, and Oliver was a wonderful man who took a real joy in living. As she recounts those romantic early days to her daughters and faces the mistakes she's made, she is reminded of a time when she had much to be grateful for-and of all the special gifts Christmas can bring. brbr And, to cap off this special, life-altering holiday season, there just might be a winter wedding on the horizon...

A Christmas to Remember August 14, 2008 Deborah S. Craft I love the Cape Light series and have been reading them from the beginning. This one, although as not as good as the ones in the past, had a warm heart-touching story. I love the characters and the setting in the book. I'm about to read book 8 in the series.

I have read the Cape Light series and it just wouldn't be complete without this title.
Questions? December 18, 2007 J. Romanelli (CT) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this book. But I have a few questions that bothered me throughout the ending, because I was waiting for them to be explained. Firstly, I'm guessing Oliver died. But how and when? And secondly, and more importantly...what was the "distaster" Oliver led Lillian into? Could anyone please explain these to me?
Kinkade is amazing! November 27, 2007 evergreenreader 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think it's amazing that such a gifted artist is also a wonderful storyteller! He--along with his co-writer--has created a charming literary universe. And this book is the best of the series. br / br /Also recommended: Christmas Gifts, Christmas Voices--a heartbreaking/heartwarming story...
