Highly Entertaining Indy Comic September 16, 2008 J. L. Figler (Central FL) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this comic, and hope there are more to come. The storyline is kid friendly, with a line or two geared toward adults (would go over the kid's heads). The illustrations and back and forth between characters embodies the feel of the Indy movies (especially Raiders), and is an entertaining read for kids (10 and up?) and adults alike.
Norse mythology and Indiana Jones....a good blend. July 22, 2008 V. Dalpe (Brooklyn, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a very refreshing installment to the Indiana Jones world. The characters were strong, recognizable, and accurate. The story was funny, child friendly, and peppered with enough racy humor and interesting history details to appeal to a wide range of adult readers as well. I especially liked the timeline (which would be before Raiders) and also Indy's first run in with the Nazi's. br / br /I look forward to the next volume in this satisfying new series that made up for the somewhat dismal film. br / br /Also I noticed the author has another comic coming out in the fall, I think I will be checking that out as well.
