Book Review October 11, 2008 Ginger Shields I lucked up on this series. I'm very please so far of what I have read,in Harlen Coben. I have other books of his in the Myron Boiltar series, and look forward to reading them all. I would suggest this to anyone who just wants and good and fast moving read, you will truly enjoy it.
Funny, Witty, Awesome! July 25, 2008 C. Utterback I have read most of Harlan's other books, but this was my first Myron Bolitar one. I decided to start from the beginning. What a great series! I love Myron, Win, and their great humor. I am also a huge sports fan so the character of sports agent is great too. br / br /I would say that Myron Bolitar books are just as good as Coben's other books, but they have a less somber/serious mood. Myron and Win keep it more fun, but the mysteries are just as great. I can't wait to read the rest of them!
Great place to start July 2, 2008 Southern Paperback Rider (South Arkansas) This is the first in the series by Harlen Coben about sports agent Myron Bolitar. br / br /The novels follow the happenings of professional sports agent who moonlights as a private detective. With the help of his friend "Win" who is an absolutely adorable sociopath (if there ever was such a thing) along with a cast of other characters that make each novel better than the last. br / br /In this you will find entertaining and witty dialogue as well as valid sports references. For the sports fan that also loves a little bit of suspense this is a must have. br / br /Again, it is the first in a series. I am book 4 and haven't found one yet that I didn't like.
I am a new fan and a huge fan! June 16, 2008 K. Hatch (santa barbara, ca) I enjoy many genres but smart, dry humor is always wonderful; mix in a great plot and brilliant characters and I am hooked. The Myron Bolitar series is up there with that other NJ centered Stephanie Plum Series in my book of great "books"; they are different, sure but still enjoyable with a poignant depth to their characters and plot lines.
Yet Another Adventure of Bulletproof Clowns May 12, 2008 Does not matter (MA, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
All the hallmarks of H.Coben are here: the plot is simply superb, the delivery is annoying but this time without extremes, the clowns are still bulletproof. br / br / br /
