Loads of useful info! March 15, 2008 a reader 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As an expecting mom, I have read so many books and this one is one of the last I've read and I have to say, it's one of the better ones too. It takes you through all the phases that get your little one here. Highly recommended! I would also suggest You Know You're Pregnant When. Reflections on the Longest Nine Months of My Life.
Excellent and Comprehensive Guide June 29, 2007 K*GT 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I spent hours at the local bookstore browsing through the "Pregnancy and Childcare" section, and this is the book I chose. Dr. Miriam Stoppard thoughtfully educates new parents-to-be with unbiased information and illustrations. Other books seemed to be either too clinical or trying too hard to be "down to earth" or "real". I appreciate their efforts, but I can find that kind of information online or check it out from the library for a quick read. This is a fascinating book that covers everything from genetic counseling to sex after delivery and will be an invaluable guide for anyone interested in learning more about childbirth.
