What to Expect From Your Conventional Pregnancy December 2, 2008 Author of Healing Our Children Cure Tooth Decay (San Jose, CA) If your the type of person who is totally into the western medical perspective, going to doctors for pregnancy care, and having a medically managed birth in the hospital, then this is the book for you. br / br /It is highly medically oriented, and comes from a seemingly neutral and non-passionate perspective. Their are lots of graphics and pictures. The book might be titled, "what to expect from pregnancy if you go the conventional route." br / br /If your looking for something alternative and vital, you might try, Healing Our Children: Because Your New Baby Matters! Sacred Wisdom for Preconception, Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting (ages 0-6).
Very Helpful November 30, 2008 A. Riezinger (Ga) With my first pregnancy I ordered several books on pregnancy and this was by far the best. It has week by week updates as well as weekly pictures of your developing baby. I have now ordered additional copies of this book as gifts.
Great resource November 26, 2008 K. Laubernds (Maineville, OH United States) After searching Amazon.com for the right pregnancy book, I settled on this one. I have not been disappointed. I love the week-by-week photos of your baby inside the womb, and I have learned a lot about my pregnant body from reading this book. Some reviewers didn't like the graphic photos, but they are real photos. I will admit that there are a lot of photos of naked pregnant women, but it does give you a good idea of how your body changes. I recommend this book to pregnant women who want real photos and lots of truthful information.
Best pregnancy book November 2, 2008 Pnut (California) This is a very good and informative book on preparing for pregnancy as well as your journey throughout pregnancy. I highly recommend this book.
Not that good October 24, 2008 P. Benden I purchased this book at the recommendation of a coworker. I returned it the next day. The book has some rather graphic pictures and is not all that informative. I found What to "Expect When You're Expecting" to be the best pregnancy related book. Even my fiance liked reading it.
