Its a piece of rubber. If that's what you want for your ipod then get it. I drop mine a lot and this seems to help. Nice loop for arm band.

This is an unusually well engineered case. It comes with a thin plastic film to protect the screen. It does NOT cover the control wheel, like other cases do, which permits easy use of the ipod. Nice feel to the rubber, and cool looking "wave" sculpted into the rubber (or is it "silicone"?)
