Good service poor product November 7, 2009 SAM (NY) Very weak rack, leans badly with 3 lightweight mountain bikes. Had to reinforce several holes with much larger screws and it still leans. Customer service provided me with spare parts at no charge, but the rack is not well built. It is for small bikes only. I would have bought the Brookstone rack if it was available at the time of purchase.
Four Bike Storage Rack October 9, 2009 DAI LY I have 2 adult & 2 kid bikes on the rack. It does hold up, but just realize that it's a non-secured / stand-alone rack, so there are x-y-z axis movements. Hindsight, I would have built a wall mounted bike rack that would be sturdier.
Holds four bikes with a small footprint August 11, 2009 N. Phan This rack is a bit quirky. The arms do not stay in place with heavier bikes. With light bikes (<20#) there is no problem. You definitely want heavier bikes on the bottom for stability. It takes up very little room and would be ideal for an apartment. In a garage it is puny.
Nice Rack!! November 7, 2008 S. Esco (Okla. City, OK USA) Holds 4 adult bikes securely. One of the screws shipped with the rack was faulty. Contacted the Mfg. directly and they shipped a replacement screw out promptly at no charge to me. Good customer service!
Four Bike Storage Rack September 23, 2008 R. Naccarato 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very pleased with this product. Although it doesn't look like it would, it holds four mountain bikes with ease. My reason for buying it was to create more room in the garage to hold both of our cars and this rack helped clear the floor so we could do just that. If you have a storage problem I HIGHLY recommend this. The foot print is small and the width from the wall is roughly two bikes parked nexted to one another with kickstands.
Only one small knock on this system, the bikes can be quite heavy and difficult to remove from the top hooks but I found if I use a small step stool it makes it easier. Worth the trouble considering the space you get back.
