 Great Magazine, even for those non-native Texans December 30, 2008

First, I am not a native Texan. I have lived in Texas and enjoyed my time there. Even before I moved to the Lone Star State, friends from Texas introduced me to Texas Monthly. I found the articles well-written, insightful, and fun to read. They provide a different perspective into social, political and environmental issues that are relevant far beyond the Texas borders. br / br /The restaurant reviews are spot on and always truthful. I used them as guide in many Texas cities and it never steered me wrong. I especially like when a review is updated and recommends specific dishes. The recipes are easy to make and mouth-watering. br / br /The cultural reviews make it easy to plan trips across the state and always see something new. br / br /Bottom line: Even though I don't live in Texas anymore, I will continue subscribing to Texas Monthly and giving it as a gift for many years. br /

I purchased Texas Monthly as a gift for a friend moving to Texas. It should give them lots of info on whats happening around the area and where to eat, shop and see whats going on. I love TM and would recommend it to anyone.

This is really a great magazine. Not only is there current information but historical information regarding Texas. Beautifully put together.
