4 out of 5 stars Great Magazine   January 8, 2009
E. Krall
Keeps me interested... But the fashion is all incredibly high priced, not something you can ever afford, which sucks.

3 out of 5 stars a "light cosmo"   December 3, 2008
Mrs. Meadows (Fort Polk, Louisiana)
This magazine is a lighter version of Cosmo. But to do the magazine justice there are indeed more in-depth and interesting articles about people and issues compared to the mostly sex and dating tip-filled (and bad tips if I might add) Cosmopolitan Magazine. Overall, I think Glamour magazine is entertaining. I enjoy it. I used to love the more humorous segments with a girl acting out something embarrassingly goofy on the streets and being photographed but it seems like they've been veering away from that. I also enjoy the book reviews (which also seems to be decreasing) .. hopefully it's not slowly evolving into a Cosmo rival full-blown. I don't plan to discontinue my subscription any time soon!

Glamour has maintained it's leadership role as a style leader for its demographic. It's ability to create the image of the young and sexy has a powerful impact. If you enjoy this magazine you will almost certainly enjoy the new dvd "Single a documentary film"..."Single" features a cast br /of entertaining and thought provoking experts,comics,singer/songwriters,and "real people" sharing their insights and observations about the complexities of relationships in todays crazy world.

I have been reading Glamour since i was 16 and still find the articles interesting and it helps me keep up with fashion and cosmetics still at my age. I like to try to keep current and Glamour helps me do that. Great magazine at all ages.
