Bossanova Galore In The Exotica Lounge June 17, 2001 John Peterson (Marinette, WI USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Here's another cool collection from the Lounge At Cinevox series. This time the focus is on the bossanova rhythms that were used in Italian Movies. Some of the composers featured are Ennio Morricone, Piero Umiliani, Guido and Maurizio De Angelis, Gianni Ferrio, and many others. Some of these songs were issued as singles; all of them are quite enjoyable. To me this is a stronger collection than the first volume. So if you have a taste for the rhythm of the gentle bossanova (I just couldn't resist, apologies to Petula Clark) give this CD a listen. It's a little on the pricey side but it's worth it!
