| Customer Reviews: Perfect for DJs on a budget February 11, 2010 D. Contreras (New York, USA) This stand is the best stand I found online for the price. Remember you get what you pay for at the end.
You get what you pay for... February 3, 2010 M. Lavallee (Rhode Island) This is a good starter stand if you are primarily a bedroom DJ, it has several different mounting options which is nice. But, it is extremely difficult to tighten up and the plastic pieces that hold the unit
together break very easily and are often sharp when broken. Also, the braces for
the laptop have bent over time making my laptop unstable and it has even fell once. Overall, it's an okay stand for
beginners, but if your show is on the road spend the extra money and buy a better one.
Piece of Junk November 18, 2009 Sasha Pen (NYC) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I don't know why, when choosing a stand for the most expensive piece of equipment I own (my laptop), I went with a piece of junk cheap laptop stand like this. Obviously made in a junk fashion, it is hard to screw in the knobs and the whole things seems as if it will fall apart any second- NOT what I want on stage holding my laptop with all the bass waves and everyone jumping around.
Plus, the tilt is not adjustable, and the height didn't work for me. It is a pain to set up and take down. I would definitely NOT recommend this product.
A bit shoddy. August 12, 2009 Petorr 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It is a Marathon brand product. Mine arrived faulty: the screw thread on one of the horizontal posts was not correctly machined and it would never thread into the knob. Not wanting to bother with an exchange I was able to make the rig work anyway.
