Short comings - in my opinion: (1) volume is too low and placement of the receiver on the ear is critical. Unless the receiver is located directly over the ear canal (i.e. not a little higher or lower) you can only hear muffled speech. Also, I was unable to use a head phone. The volume was so low as to be useless. (2) Recorder does not have time or date stamp. (3) record time can only be set at 1 minute or 3 minutes. (4) There are only 5 speed dial selections on the base phone. (5)reception (sound) from base receiver is muffled (like a lot of base frequency and no treble).

I really like all the features of this phone system. The battery life is great --- I leave one of the phones on my endtable for days without re-charging it. Sound quality when talking is crisp and at the appropriate level.
You won't regret buying this one!!!

I bought this phone because it was the only wall mount model that I could find. I really like the phone. There are two things that I would like potential buyers to know. One it that the phone has a very pleasant ring. The second thing is that you have to buy a cord to go with the corded phone because it is the shortest cord that I have ever seen.

This phone was easy to use and set up----directions straightforward. Voice quality excellent, which is important to me. The ability to use a head phone is something you won't want to be without once you have it. It's amazing what you can get done while you are on "hold".
Best recomendation of all: My son, who has a house full of neat electronic gadgets said, "My next phone/answering machine will be this one." Made me smile.
For convience sake, I would make the length of the line on the recharging bases longer.

I would like other ring tones, the ones on phone are lame, have to push too many buttons to erase numbers & info.
