Digital Photography December 24, 2008 jem As usual my order was promptly received and in stated condition. I find having "Prime" for shipping is a great savings and would recommend it to anyone that regularly uses Amazon.
A Newbie Photographer's BEST FRIEND. December 16, 2008 Lawrence Atienza Photography (California, USA) BOOK: The Digital Photography Book, Volume 2 (Paperback) br /by Scott Kelby (Author) br / br /RATING: 5 stars br / br /FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I received Scott Kelby's "The Digital Photography Book Volume 2 as a gift and it was a great gift indeed. Even though I have probably read every photography book out there, this book still had a few handy tips that surprised me. br / br /PROS: br /-Easy reading/ conversational style br /- Plenty of tips and tricks. There were even a few i didn't know of. br / br /CONS: Nothing major, I just hoped for more examples and some lighting diagrams. br / br / br /CONCLUSION: If you are just starting out and haven't started reading any photography books, this is a great FIRST book. This book will provide a great framework to the skills necessary to be a good photographer. Google me and check out my work and let me know if this book helped me or not. You be the judge.
Good, but not what I really wanted!! November 29, 2008 Kermit Harson (La. USA) I learned from the information in the book, but I was looking for a little different information. I guess that will come with experenice.
Great book of pointers for a beginning photographer November 25, 2008 Devin T. Caywood (Durham, NC) Inexpensive but very helpful little book full of pointers for a beginning photographer who wants to get a little serious about his/her work. The book is composed of a bunch of pointers that are clearly explained and illustrated. I have bought both volumes just as I was getting into photography and found them to be very useful. They are also nice because they are a quick read.
Great Book!!!!! November 25, 2008 William Havle (Grass Valley, CA) This book is very good. It is written in a way that anybody can understand. It truely is written as if you where talking to a friend and explaining to him how you do something, in this case photography. I highly reccomend it to anyone wanting to know a little more about digital photography and how to do certain things. It covers many areas of how toos like Flash Photography or Macro (Close up) Photography. Very Good Book.
