Mostly Great! August 1, 2008 Adam Bengston 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
There was a slight crease in the binding, and it was supposed to be a brand new copy. Other than that, it was great! Received it promptly and was otherwise pleased.
The Legacy saga gets better and better July 26, 2008 E. B. Lewis 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was too late to catch the Legacy series issue by issue, so I've been buying the graphic novels as they come out. This latest installment will not disappoint fans. The storytelling is fast-paced and exciting, and the artwork is nothing short of extraordinary. Highly recommended for Star Wars fans who are looking to see more of the universe.
A Powerful Ending to a Great Story Arc July 5, 2008 R. Cole 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Cade Skywalker is a rebellious and emotionally broken former Jedi. Sought by the evil Sith that now rule the galaxy, scheming factions of the Empire, and his own former teachers, Cade heads to Coruscant, the stronghold of his enemies, to try and make amends for the wrongs he has committed. br / br /Claws of the Dragon is the most powerful and action-oriented addition to the Legacy series so far. Bringing together the various threads and backstories from Shards (Volume 2), CotD presents an excellent story filled with battles, scheming, and death that will rock the Star Wars Legacy universe. As well, the origins of such characters as Darth Krayt and Morrigan Corde are revealed. br / br /CotD is my favorite entry in the SW:L universe so far, and I highly recommend it to both graphic novel enthusiasts and Star Wars fans. Volumes 1 and 2 should be read first, however, as Volume 3 builds significantly on the previously-established storylines. br / br /Note: Star Wars Legacy, Volume 3: Claws of the Dragon collects issues 14 through 19 of the comic book series.
Great June 27, 2008 Christopher R. Jones 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this series and this story arc is so far the best yet. I love that they made Darth Krayt A'Sharad Hett. Cade is walking the same path as Anakin did and I cant wait to see how it all plays out. br / br /I highly recommend this series to everyone frome serious star wars fans to casual readers.
Behold The "Dragon"...And Weep. June 24, 2008 Steven J. Pani (Peekskill, New York United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had no idea that Darth Krayt would turn out to be such a familiar character. I felt so sorry for him, for turning to the dark side, just so he could have a purpose in life. br / br /I also liked how the story tied in with the "New Jedi Order" and "Legacy Of The Force" book series'. It was also nice to see Chak'ka the Wookiee again, now all grown up. br / br /I was very surprised by the last page of the book. Does Moff Calixte have a personal connection to the Skywalkers? I hope we find out soon.
